Sightseeing: The Vikos Canyon is the largest attraction of our area, being one of the deepest canyons in the world. It can be seen up close from the village of Monodendri which is 10km away from Elati. The natural beauty and the unique architecture of homes, bridges and cobblestone roads can be seen throughout the region. Also, the city of Ioannina, located 30min away offers many beautiful locations such as the lake with the island, the medieval castle, the cave of Perama the waxworks museum and many others.

Hiking: As mentioned in the central page hiking is very popular with our visitors, and many choices and directions are offered.

Rafting, canoeing, mountain biking and other activities can be arranged through many activity centres based in the area.
